Richard works at Ferring Country Centre which is situated in the small village of Ferring to the west of Worthing, which is where he lives with his mum and dad and his five brothers and sisters.
At the centre he enjoys looking after the animals and works in the café, “but mainly to keep warm”, as his sister fondly admits.
Richard has an illustrative quality of drawing, often based along a theme and usually Harry Potter, Doctor Who or Scooby Doo; his favourite things.
He loves drawing and creates tonnes of pictures every day, especially when driven by a brand new pack of black pens and white drawing paper.
Richard has quite the imagination, deciding to draw a plane crash when about to travel with his mum who hates flying, making matters worse by drawing sharks in the sea attacking those that have fallen from the plane.
Other interests include a love of James Bond films and all of the British comedy Red Dwarf series of which he regularly listens to the theme tune on YouTube.
